Signs · part of Recon

A sign for every account, made at the table.

Signs is the point-of-sale sign builder inside Recon. Pick a format and an occasion, edit the sign right where it sits, and see it in every format before it goes to print.

Signs was called Resign. It is in early access, and there is no public app yet.

Four formats

  • Bar sign

    11 by 17 inches.

  • A4 portrait

    8.3 by 11.7 inches.

  • Horizontal

    17 by 11 inches.

  • Table tent

    4 by 6 inches.

What the builder does

  • Every format at once

In build. Bar sign, A4 portrait, a wide horizontal sheet, or a table tent, each sized for where it goes up. The sign reshapes to fit and keeps your edits.

  • Edit on the sign

In build. Every line is click-to-edit right on the preview. Drag a line to move it, pick several, then nudge, resize, reorder or hide them. There is no side panel of fields to keep in step with what prints.

  • Pick an occasion

In build. Start from now pouring, happy hour, a bucket special or a daily deal. The occasion fills the sign, and you change any line.

  • Guardrails on what a sign can say

In build. Sign copy is checked against the rules for that sign class before you print: whether the retailer name is allowed, and language regulators flag, like an unbounded giveaway or an "unlimited" pour.

  • Undo and redo

In build. Step back through your edits by button or keyboard, and forward again, so trying a bolder layout costs nothing.

  • Color and artwork you can change

In build. Pick the background color from swatches or a custom color, and choose the artwork in the middle.

  • A proof you can print

In build. One click opens a clean proof of just the sign. Save it as a PDF or send it to the printer.

  • Save a design

In build. Keep a finished sign as a template, so the next account with the same deal takes a couple of taps.
